God leads us beside still waters, but most of us are running past them. In this workshop, we will explore what it means to tend your spiritual life with intention, creating rhythms of rest, prayer, and renewal that fuel the work God has called you to rather than draining you of it.

This workshop explores why women’s voices in preaching matter for the whole Church. We’ll look at how women often bring fresh insight to Scripture, powerful real-life application, and a unique ability to connect God’s Word to everyday life. The session also highlights how diverse voices help the Church hear Scripture more fully and faithfully. We’ll also reflect on how the Church is strengthened when different voices are welcomed into the task of preaching. This is an invitation to rethink what faithful proclamation sounds like—and why we need more voices at the table.

As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, people across the political and cultural spectrum are telling competing stories about America’s past and debating what its future should become. Soul care is the intentional act of tending to our souls, exploring how they've been deformed by the brokenness of life and our own sinful nature. It's a practice of going beyond the surface knowing that Jesus journeys with us through it all. In this workshop, we'll define soul care and introduce Soul Dinners as a community practice that creates safe space for this deep tending. Together, we will explore how to define the kind of disciple your church seeks to form, identify where people get stuck, connect ministries around a shared process, and create clear next steps that move people from encountering Jesus to becoming disciple-makers. You will leave with a practical framework you can use with your leadership team to build a pathway that fits your church’s theology, mission, culture, and community. Because the goal is not simply to gather a crowd—it is to form disciples who make disciples.

Inspired by Tim Chester’s A Meal With Jesus, this workshop explores how Jesus used meals as a primary context for discipleship. Throughout the Gospels, transformation often happens not in crowds, but around tables—where people are known, welcomed, challenged, and restored. The goal is to help leaders see how shared meals, consistent presence, and Christ-centered community create environments where disciples are formed naturally and deeply.

Many young adults are spiritually active, attending church, serving, and engaging in Christian spaces, yet internally feel distant, numb, or disconnected from God. This workshop exposes the often overlooked gap between spiritual activity and spiritual intimacy, helping participants recognize the subtle signs of disconnection from the Holy Spirit. Through biblical insight and guided reflection, attendees will discover what it actually means to live with the indwelling presence of God, not just around spiritual things. Participants will be invited to reorient their lives around awareness, surrender, and sensitivity to the Spirit, learning how to move from performance-driven faith into genuine relational connection.

Many young adults behave as if following Jesus means erasing themselves and copying whoever's on stage. This session argues the opposite: God authorized you as you, and conformity is the enemy of both authenticity and fruitfulness. Drawing from his latest book, this session introduces concepts like the Baobab tree planted in a backyard — the right thing in the wrong garden becomes a liability — and Solomon's drift from his center, participants will work through what they're actually designed for, why clarity always costs something, and how to convert that clarity into a concrete discipleship assignment: one person, one context, one next step. Every participant leaves with a clear awareness of their unique authority.

We know that we are called to obey the instructions of the Lord, but what happens when fear of the unknown results in paralyzation over faith? How do we combat the voice in our head telling us the boat is safer than the water? What does it look like to walk in obedience when you have no idea where it’s going to take you? In this workshop, we will address common lies and misconceptions about obedience the enemy uses to paralyze us, while looking at how scripture encourages us to step into the unknown with an all knowing God.
