AFTERNOON BREAKOUTS
AFTERNOON BREAKOUTS
Workshop Description
So many of us are navigating anxiety, burnout, loneliness, and emotional exhaustion while trying to stay strong spiritually. This workshop will explore the connection between mental health and spiritual health through a biblical and practical lens. We will learn healthy rhythms of rest, prayer, community, and emotional honesty that will help to sustain long-term growth. Discover how Jesus cares for you as a whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
Workshop Description
This breakout would center on the importance of building a solid foundation in Christ-centered identity. In a world where culture, comparison, social media, and performance constantly try to define us, this session would help young adults understand who they are in Christ and how to live confidently and authentically according to God’s calling and purpose for their lives.
Workshop Description
Singleness is often spoken about as a gift, yet many believers quietly wrestle with the tension, grief, and loneliness that can come with it. Attendees will explore themes of identity, waiting, comparison, and the subtle idols that can form in hidden or undesired seasons. Honest conversation and guided discussion will create space for participants to process struggles with validation, fantasy, relationships, performance, and misplaced dependence without shame or fear. This workshop will encourage believers to remain faithful in the “meantime” while pursuing deeper intimacy, surrender, and trust in God even when life feels hidden or uncertain.
Workshop Description
In seasons of spiritual dryness, when God feels distant and prayer or Scripture feels difficult, it can be easy to drift into distraction, discouragement, or simply going through the motions. This workshop will explore how spiritual disciplines help keep Christ at the center when our hearts feel scattered or our faith feels routine.
Together, we will consider how practices such as Scripture, prayer, worship, fasting, confession, and community are not rigid checklists or ways to earn God’s love. They are grace-filled rhythms that shape our desires, strengthen our faith, and form us into faithful disciples who continue drawing near to Christ in every season.
Workshop Description
We are all being formed by something. This workshop explores how our habits, relationships, culture, and daily rhythms shape who we are becoming—and how we can intentionally choose the way of Jesus.
Workshop Description
There are seasons when you feel trapped and the freedom that Jesus has given us seems like a myth. How do you navigate the lies of feeling trapped when everything around you says it's true- especially as a woman? Let's look at the hope Jesus offers in His word.
Workshop Description
In a generation shaped by camps, conferences, and emotional highs, many teens and young adults have learned how to experience God but not how to walk with Him daily. This workshop will help leaders rethink event-driven discipleship and move toward rhythm-based spiritual formation. We will explore how to equip teens and young adults with simple, sustainable practices like consistent Scripture engagement, honest prayer, and daily obedience. Special attention will be given to helping them process both their struggles and their gratitude before God, forming a more honest and resilient faith. Leaders will also learn how to create ministry environments that reinforce consistency rather than dependency on moments. The goal is to help teens and young adults build a faith that lasts beyond the next emotional high.
Workshop Description
Immigration is often treated as a political issue, but Scripture repeatedly frames migration as a discipleship issue. From Abraham’s journey to the scattering of the early church, God has consistently worked through displacement, cultural tension, and hospitality to form His people and advance His mission. In a rapidly changing America shaped by migration and cultural fragmentation, how can the church respond with theological clarity, spiritual maturity, and missional imagination? This workshop will explore how immigration uniquely exposes the fears, idols, and discipleship gaps within the American church while also creating new opportunities for gospel witness and kingdom community. Participants will gain a biblical framework for understanding migration and practical insights for cultivating faithful, cross-cultural discipleship in their local context.
Workshop Description
The wedding may begin the marriage, but discipleship shapes what the marriage becomes. In this engaging and interactive workshop, Kevin and Deborah Richelieu of Beyond the Wedding will help couples explore how following Jesus together can shape the spiritual, emotional, and relational culture of their marriage. Through practical conversations and biblical principles, couples will discover how everyday rhythms, intentional communication, and shared spiritual practices can transform marriage into a place of ongoing discipleship and growth. Participants will leave with practical tools to strengthen their relationship with Christ and one another while intentionally building a marriage that impacts their home, community, and future generations. Because a flourishing marriage isn’t only about the life you build together—it’s about the legacy your life together leaves behind.
