MORNING BREAKOUTS
Workshop Description: Embrace the Tension: Discipleship in the Radical Middle
We live in a discipleship crisis of false binaries. Followers of Jesus are pressured to pick a side — grace or truth, justice or mercy, conviction or compassion — as if maturity means eliminating tension rather than learning to carry it well.
Drawing from his book Embrace the Tension, Tommy Nixon invites participants on a pilgrimage through the landscape of discipleship formation — from the Plains of Truth, where we confront easy answers, into the Depths of Nuance, where real spiritual maturity begins. Using this Camino-inspired framework, this workshop will equip leaders to disciple people not toward certainty, but toward Christlike wholeness — the kind that can hold hard tensions without collapsing into extremism or apathy.
Workshop Description: God Bless America?
As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, people across the political and cultural spectrum are telling competing stories about America’s past and debating what its future should become. But how should Christians understand our nation’s history in light of God’s redemptive story? What does it mean to live as dual citizens of both a country and a Kingdom that are not always aligned? And how can our calling to make disciples, be salt and light, and serve as ambassadors of Christ shape the way we engage a deeply polarized political culture with both truth and love? Join us to explore the AND Campaign framework for faithful civic engagement and discover practical ways to live out your Christian witness in today’s political moment.
Workshop Description: Emotionally Healthy Discipleship
Emotional health is not optional in discipleship or leadership — it is essential! Spiritual maturity cannot exist alongside emotional immaturity. In this workshop, we will address your emotional life directly and show why emotional health is necessary for a people whose lives and leadership are marked by honest confession and genuine repentance.
Workshop Description: Biblical Womanhood
Biblical Womanhood: Identity at the Well is a workshop for women who desire to build their identity on Christ rather than on culture, relationships, achievements, or circumstances. Through the story of the Samaritan woman. in John 4, we’ll explore how Jesus meets us in our shame, speaks truth over our lives, and transforms the way we see ourselves. This workshop will include teaching, personal testimony, reflection, and intentional conversation as we unpack what it truly means to live as a woman rooted in Jesus. Together, we’ll learn how to let go of false labels, silence unhealthy self-talk, and embrace the identity God has already spoken over us.
Workshop Description: 3 Story Evangelism: A Way of Life
3 story evangelism is a simple way to be relational in your approach to sharing Jesus with others. This takes away the performative aspect and sense of trying to close a deal and instead it takes a discipleship approach in doing life with people and getting to understand first who they are first. 3 story is who we want to be and how we want to live, knowing that if we seek to abide deeply with Jesus every day and stay saturated in His word, we will be ready and aware of the opportunities He gives us to share our stories, discover the stories of others and invite them to learn more about His Good News.
Workshop Description: Backstage Life
Ministry success on the front stage can mask a dying soul behind the curtain. In this session, we'll examine Jesus' sobering words to the leaders of his day — a diagnosis, a cause, a prognosis, and a cure — all centered on one haunting question: What will it profit you if you gain the entire world and lose your own soul? Jesus warns that a preoccupation with the front stage leads to backstage death, and his words are as relevant to ministry leaders today as they were to the scribes and Pharisees of his time. This session is less about downloading information and more about facilitating genuine care for your soul. Come with an open heart — Jesus has something better for you than the stage ever could.
Workshop Description: Worldview Apologetics
Worldview apologetics will entail the biblical defense against non-Christian worldviews, revealing the absurdity of rejecting Christ as the ultimate foundation. And reasoning from the self-attesting nature of scripture the certainty of the Christian worldview that makes sense of all life and reality.
Workshop Description: Lead the One in the Mirror: Self-Leadership That Holds Under Pressure
Talent may open doors, but character determines whether a leader can sustain the responsibility that comes with them. In a culture that often celebrates charisma, visibility, and results, the internal development of leaders is frequently overlooked. This workshop explores why personal integrity, discipline, and spiritual maturity are essential foundations for long-term leadership effectiveness. Drawing from biblical examples and principles from The 4D Leader, participants will examine the relationship between private decisions and public influence. Attendees will identify practical ways to strengthen their character, develop accountability, and build the internal capacity necessary to lead well under pressure.
